Art Class Level 4

In our level 4 youth art classes, students build on the elements of art and learn advanced color theory. Students learn how to draw realistic objects in three-dimensional space with lighting from multiple sources. Students also learn how to use their art skills to illustrate stories and imbue their art with symbolism and expression. Students refine their skills by tackling more advanced projects using art materials they’ve learned previously, in addition to being introduced to more advancing painting techniques and the use of oil paints.

College Art Portfolio Class

Students with an interest in applying to art high school or art college can enroll in our portfolio class. We counsel students and help them prepare their admissions portfolio, tailor-made to the specific needs of their target school or fields of interest. Right Brain Academy of Art has an excellent admissions record, with former students admitted to Columbia University, USC, Parsons, Cal Arts, ArtCenter and more.

AP Studio Art Portfolio

What is AP Studio Art?  It is a series of Advanced Placement Courses offered by the College Board, divided into three different categories:  AP Studio Art Drawing, AP Studio Art 2-D Design, and AP Studio Art 3-D Design. The AP Studio Art Exam is a portfolio that encompasses 3 different categories: Quality, Concentration, and Breadth. Depending on the AP Studio Art exam the student is taking, the components for each of the 3 categories will vary.

Our Job at RBAA is to help students execute their vision. We ask questions, and help them create a plan to assemble a complete and diverse portfolio.
